Offense

The Chargers-Raiders rivalry is one of the oldest in NFL, dating back to 1960. Defense

After an uneven start, the Chargers defense made two significant stops late in the game that proved crucial for victory. To maintain playoff hopes this year and make up any ground on them in terms of wins over division opponents, they’ll need to improve dramatically on defense – starting with improving Jaxson Dart’s production, stopping their opponent’s quarterback from scoring too often, and applying pressure. If they can do all these things successfully they may very well make the playoffs once more; special teams also remain an area of weakness this season for them.
