Romania manager Edward Iordanescu must make an unexpected defensive change as left-back Nicusor Bancu is suspended due to receiving two yellow cards. Vasile Mogos or Lutsharel Geertruida could replace him depending on who starts in midfield alongside Ianis Hagi and Cody Gakpo.

Netherlands

Ronald Koeman has not overseen an impressive performance with The Netherlands during their Euro 2024 campaign, although they did begin well by beating Ukraine, then lost to Belgium and drew with Slovakia before coming up short against Austria with an amazing come-from-behind 3-2 loss.

Romania have been one of the tournament’s pleasant surprises, collecting four points in both group games to top their section and win an impressive 2-1 comeback victory against Poland before holding out 0-0 with France minus Kylian Mbabbe and drawing 2-2 against an Austrian side that had one goal ruled off for offside play.

Romania won their opening Group B match 1-0 against Albania to avoid the UEFA play-offs, in which they would have faced Denmark, Switzerland or Belgium over two legs. They then proceeded to draw their last two group matches against Germany and Montenegro with 1-1 scores; enough for promotion into League A of UEFA’s Nations League 2.

Verbruggen

The Netherlands will aim to build on their 1-1 draw against Hungary and claim second place in their UEFA Nations League group with victory. They’ll be buoyed by goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen’s return from injury as they look to exploit England’s weaknesses in this winner-takes-all matchup.

Verbruggen made six saves during the Netherlands’ 3-2 win against Turkey on Saturday, but his unluckiness with one goal allowed saw Erling Haaland score from its rebound. At just 24 years old, Brighton-born Verbruggen became only the third-youngest goalkeeper ever to make 10 or more international appearances.

Ronald Koeman has kept faith with his goalkeepers despite Frenkie de Jong’s injury, selecting Vergruggen over Mark Flekken of Brentford for this tournament. Verbruggen will hope to maintain his impressive form at Johan Cruyff Arena where he has featured in 21 Premier League matches this year – keeping four clean sheets while conceding 28 goals while using his right foot; currently playing for Brighton & Hove Albion.

Dumfries

Ronald Koeman has assembled a talented squad that could give them a run for their money this summer in Germany. A long way since their last-16 exit against Czech Republic at Euro 2016, the Oranje are out for revenge after failing to lift any major trophy at their last tournament appearance in 2013.

Romania surprised many when they entered the tournament as an unexpected participant in 2018. A powerful squad featuring domestic-based players such as midfielder Ilie Dumitrescu and striker Florin Raducioiu gave Romania an extra edge during group stage play – not least by being spared from encounters against Argentina and Brazil!

Moldova managed to gain one point against Czech Republic, yet that proved irrelevant as they went on to lose to Denmark and Switzerland in their next two matches. Although Moldovan’s late equaliser against Croatia provided them with some hope for elimination by Davor Suker’s second-half penalty kick, their final match against Croatia proved too much of a test and they ultimately succumbed.

Reijnders

Reijnders is an extremely impressive player in his own right. He can play an offensive or more defensive style depending on the situation; reading the game well and being precise with his passing are among his many talents; moving the ball quickly to create chances for himself and team-mates are among them as well.

Romania are exerting immense effort and forcing the Dutch back four to commit errors. Ianis Hagi attempted to beat Virgil Van Dijk with an inside cut but missed its target; Nicolae Stanciu also added width on the left with his cross aimed at Dennis Man, though its trajectory wasn’t precise due to an imprecise left leg swing by Dennis Man.

As the first half progresses, The Netherlands start to find their feet. Stefan de Vrij sets an energetic pace from centre back while Donyell Malen injects pace into their attack. Malen’s cross ricochets to Memphis Depay but due to Andrei Ratiu’s vital toenail toenail blocking Memphis Depay’s connection cleanly it flies over Florin Nita’s goal and out of play.

Schouten

The Netherlands national football team, commonly referred to as Oranje (Orange), represents their country internationally through international association football competition. Participating in UEFA competitions, this professional side is currently led by Ronald Koeman who took over after Euro 2024 concluded. Headquartered in Rotterdam with most home matches being played at Johan Cruyff Arena; widely considered one of Europe’s strongest sides following its battle against Argentina at World Cup 2022 known as Lusail Battle – their match being one of many powerful rivalry games!

The Netherlands are among the elite teams in Europe and have an excellent chance of qualifying for Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games. Unfortunately, however, their recent form has been disappointing and major tournament performances have been subpar; some fans have called for changes in coaching teams. Players such as Virgil van Dijk and Nathan Ake must perform at their best for Oranje, with Cody Gakpo showing positive signs in terms of form.

Simons

Romania made waves during Euro 2024 qualifying by making it all the way to Paris for the final tournament. They started off strong by defeating Greece, followed by a goalless draw against Pot 2 team Hungary and two consecutive 2-0 victories against Finland before finally succumbing to France with a 4-1 loss that put an abrupt end to their dream run.

After recovering, Germany rebounded to earn a morale-boosting 1-1 draw against Kylian Mbabbe’s absence in France and having another penalty disallowed, they then failed to build upon this promising performance and suffered a 3-2 defeat against Austria at Berlin’s Olympistadion stadium.

Frenkie de Jong and Teun Koopmeiners both dropped out, prompting late changes for the Dutch side. But despite having made changes they remain an effective team with quality players like Romelu Lukaku and Nicolae Stanciu in midfield to set a pacey tempo and create scoring chances; additional attack came through Cody Gakpo and Donyell Malen.

Bergwijn

The Netherlands are known for their abundant talent in their squad and for their attacking flair, boasting several players from top European leagues who play together seamlessly to form an indisputable force. Romania, on the other hand, stands out with its hardiness and resilience and has produced legendary players over time; making this matchup all the more thrilling to observe.

Ronald Koeman will look to build on their quarterfinal exit at Euro 2024 with an improved showing in 2025. Ronald’s squad features some newcomers such as Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Oyiwa and Ajax striker Romelu Lukaku; as well as capitalizing on momentum gained during their comeback from being two goals down in their UEFA Nations League tie with Germany which resulted in a draw.

The Netherlands are still searching for their first major trophy despite qualifying for an unprecedented eleventh consecutive World Cup tournament, having previously won it four times and reaching 10 finals of UEFA Women’s Championship competitions.

Depay

The Netherlands national football team is widely considered one of the premier teams in Europe, boasting world-class talent that is known for their attacking flair. Recent results have been outstanding for this Dutch side; however they face an uphill struggle when they face Romania as they play a more disciplined style of soccer that has shown mixed results but strong defensive strength.

The Netherlands aren’t considered favorites to win Euro 2024, but their coach Ronald Koeman stands a good chance of reaching the quarter-finals under Louis van Gaal and is expected to make Oranje competitive at home.

Romania’s qualifying campaign began badly, beginning with an underwhelming 1-1 draw against Montenegro and two subsequent goalless draws against Belarus and France before succumbing to a comprehensive 3-0 loss. Despite such poor performances, Romania has shown signs of improvement, particularly against France where Dorinel Munteanu scored late equalizer after Gianluigi Buffon punched him out; unfortunately however this late goal wasn’t enough to secure victory for them.
